Yuba Vacation July 23-26

July 23 we headed for our yearly trip to Yuba Lake with our friends and family!! We had 7 trailers this year and we got a great spot on the beach. The weather was perfect...nice a HOT!! We ate great food and played games and just had a nice time. A BIG Thank You to Steve and Jamie for bringing there boat and tube so we all could enjoy it!! I want to say Thanks to Steve and Marc for having the patience and cheering me on to keep trying to get up on the wake board. I can't wait for next year!! I would post some pictures but I didn't take one snap shot!! I left the camera in the truck and completely forgot about it!! Who does that...!!!! Maybe someone will forward some of there pictures to me!! hehehe Well, thanks everyone for another great vacation and I'm already thinking of next year (for sure I will take pictures next time).

YellowStone/South Dakota Road Trip

We packed up our trailer's and hit the road with Mike and Shelly on Friday June 26 and headed for Yellowstone! The drive to Yellowstone is so pretty...except once we got into Jackson it pretty much rained. Finally we found our campground at Flagg Ranch which is in the Teton's and 2 miles from Yellowstone....nice campground except for the ragging river that flowed through Gordon and I's spot but once it stopped raining the water drained and it was perfect!! I do have to say the mesquites were out of control!! OMG bring a serious supply of bug stray if going to Yellowstone!!! We stayed here for 3 nights and on Monday morning packed it all up and headed to Sheridan, Wyoming once in Sheridan we unhitched and got back into the truck and headed for Montana to see Custer's Last Stand!! Super neat!! Tuesday morning pack it up and off to our final destination...South Dakota! Long drive!!! Very Pretty!!! Very green!!! So after driving all day we got into Rapid City, South Dakota about 4ish and unhitched and set up our stuff made some dinner and basically chilled out...oh yeah did I mention it was raining again!! So Shelly and I decided to get some laundry done and sit in the hot tub while out clothes were washing!! The RV campground had all the amenities...!! We went nonstop once we got to S.D. so we could get all the sites in as much as possible!! S.D has a lot to see and I recommend it as a must see!!! Lots of great history to see!!! Amazing!!!! Loved it!!! Thanks Mike and Shelly for 9 days of amazing memories!!! Here are some pictures.......
